Sugar-Free Corn Syrup Recipe
- 1 ¼ cup Pyure (or Gentle Sweet, Homemade Pyure, or other stevia-based combination) (2 ½ cup) Or use 2½ cups of cup-for-cup sugar sub
- ¾ cup water (1 ½ cup)
- ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar (1/2 tsp)
- Dash of salt (2 dashes)
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan.
- Stir and cook over medium-high heat until it reaches a boil.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until it reaches soft ball stage on a candy thermometer.
- Cool syrup and store in a covered container at room temperature. It will keep for about two months
