Oven Roasted OR Air Fried Parmesan Green Beans

  1. If oven roasting, preheat oven to 425 degrees. (If your air fryer, calls for preheating, preheat to 400 degrees at this time.)
  2. In a large bowl whisk oil, minced garlic, egg, pepper, and Favorite Seasoning Mix together.
  3. Toss in green beans and coat well. (I prefer to coat with my hands to be sure that all of the "goop" is throughout the beans.)
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan on the green beans and toss gently, again fully coating.
  5. Transfer to 9 x 9 baking pan if using air fryer (see air fryer size needs in above paragraphs) or huge baking sheet with sides (large jelly roll pan works best).
  6. Air fryer: 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Turn lightly halfway between. (Avoid turning if you truly have one layer--like if you halved the recipe and only did a 6 ounce portion of beans.)
  7. Oven: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  8. Finishing When Oven Roasting: To crisp, heat for a minute or two under broiler. No need for crisping afterwards in the fryer.
